In 1929, the founder Agostino Pontillo had his greatest intuition: combining the Sicilian experience in the production of bitters with the uniqueness of some of the main Alpine officinal herbs and deposited the name Amaro Alpino at the Trento chamber of commerce.
In the 1960s, the economic boom strengthened the expansion and fame of the Amaro in the national territory, positioning itself in bars, restaurants and hotels throughout the country.
The particular packaging makes the product unique of its kind.

In addition to being savored at the end of a meal, its organoleptic structure also makes it suitable for mixing with other products. Alpine Amaro can in fact enrich the aperitifs both in the more classic version with the addition of seltz and an orange peel and with drinks such as “SpritzAlpino”, as a substitute for vermouth in the “American Mountain” or even better in the “Negroni on the top” . Amaro Alpino can also make after-dinner specials, mixed in iconic cocktails such as the Alpin Tonic “or in fresh novelties such as” From Alps to Sea “.
